I have been a talktalk customer for many years (and Tiscali before). Fortunately my dealings with the customer support have been rare (the overseas call centres are a nightmare with no one with any authority to talk to.) I have been getting decent broadband despite being at the end of a road of around 6gb but for the last 10 days the speed has been 0.6gb and a ping of over a second. I cannot find anywhere to report this. can anyone tell me how I can get in touch with talktalk to report this fault ( I have tried 3 different routers and they are all the same). I have never seen a website like this before with so many dead ends!

I’m trying to reset my Tiscali password, but I’m not having any luck.
When I try resetTing it via TalkTalk MyAccount, my email address isn’t recognised.
When I try to access my account using the magic link, the link never loads.

I am finding that some emails are going to Spam in Thunderbird on my PC and disappearing entirely from my phone, for no good reason.
The Thunderbird community suggest this may be a problem at the server
I know talktalk do not want to support onetel so I have set up a Talktalk e-mail account and this works well. Unfortunately, I still need the onetel account and it is the default one on my computer. It stopped sending e-mails some months ago and now it will not receive them. Can anyone help?
I haven’t received any new emails since 22:24 on Wednesday night. I am able to send emails to friends and able to send to TalkTalk addresses of family too.
i have checked all my settings and deleted lots of large emails from my mail but still isn’t working.

I am having to start this topic again as 3 months on it is still not solved. I have emailed Ady so many times but he doesn’t reply. I also spoke to online-chat but still not solved!
Among my 5 email addresses I have one that is not used and I really need to use the space, for a new address, This was an urgent request to enable me to work from home, ( Covid related and too late now but I would still like the address deleted) because this address has been unused for so long It no longer works and I am unable to delete It from my account myself. Is there some kind of team I can contact Direct to get this address deleted? As explained to me It seems like such a simple task, but the message is not getting through.

I have a tiscali account that I haven’t used for around 10 years but I need to get access to this to retrieve an e-mail (a company auto held my tiscali e-mail address on file & have sent some tickets to it). As tiscali is now TalkTalk & I don’t have a TalkTalk account I can’t see a way of retrieving my e-mails. Please can someone provide some help / instructions on how I can do this.

I am a deliverability consultant and one of my customers can't send messages to its users (B2C): 2% open rate while the average value is 19% => all is going to the spam folder.
They stopped sending messages for 2 months dues to COVID and now send outs are blocked even with a new IP warmup.
Can you help me please ? I got no answer from postmaster@ et abuse@.
I can give IPs, senders, and others data, but not here directly.

My email account that I have used for 10+ years has been hacked. The password is still the same and I can still access the account. I tried to reset my password through the "manage talktalk mail" and also the forgotten password links. Both fail saying an error occurred.
I spoke to the customer support team for over 4 hours via chat and phone, but they were unable to do anything but did escalate it to the technical team. The technical team emailed me back saying "the email address that you are using is one of our legacy email address which means they do not work when you try to reset password online"
I now have a compromised email account with no way of resetting the password to secure it. I can create a new email account but it is going to take weeks to transfer all the sites I use that have this email address as my contact details.
Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received

I’m an 81 year old at home during the lockdown. There is some important information I need to access from my tiscali mail account. I cannot log in and cannot change the password. I have checked that my email account is still valid.
Any help from the community would be most appreciated.
Last week something went wrong when I was deleting emails - it seemed that my inbox and deleted items folders got mixed up. I think I may have deleted some emails by mistake.
Is it possible to retrieve them?
I have read online that for some accounts it is possible to use the "Recover Deleted Items From Server" icon. But on my email this icon is greyed out. I use Tiscali email which I access on my laptop which runs Outlook 2013 and Windows 10.
Is there a way to retrieve deleted emails by accessing .pst files?
Please advise.

hello again everyone (moderators and OCes included) has there been any progress on the e-mail problem I still can't delete two e-mail accounts so i can link two older accounts I use every day, I have been trying now for 9 months and I am still in the same situation , I started because TALKtalk sent us all e-mails saying they would delete older accounts and that we should link any older accounts which has proven to be impossible , any news would be welcome you have to laugh don't you?
A few weeks ago I added my partner's email address to "My Account" via my laptop so that both his and my emails were all linked. At that time I we changed his password. Since then he does not automatically receive his emails. Each time he opens Outlook a pop-up box appears and he has to re-enter this new password. He accesses his emails on his laptop running Outlook 2007 and Windows 2007.
I have also had the same problem with one of my email addresses for a long time. I access my emails on my laptop using Outlook 2013 and Windows10.

Same username used for talktalk my account and emails so same pasword used. Forgotten password. know unable to access both accounts .talktalk seem unable /Willing to sort problem out keep fobbing me off with ill be contacted within 72hrs never happens
My recovery email details are to my emails going round in circles

My dad recently bought a new laptop and I'm helping him set up access to his Pipex email account ******@dsl.pipex.com. He is able to send emails from Outlook, but none that are sent to this email address are received. The last email he received was around the time I set up the email on his laptop around lunchtime on Saturday, i.e. nearly 48 hours ago now.
There are no obvious error messages being received, e.g. the numerous test messages I have sent have not bounced anything back.
We checked by logging into the Pipex web email and there are no emails received there either.
I set up the account using the setting detailed here:

On 5th June I posted an article headed ‘Where is Gondola?’ in which I mentioned that the last posting from Gondola seemed to have been made on 31st May.
In my article, I suggested that following certain postings from Gondola, which I included in my posting, he might have gone to ‘pastures new’.
There has been NO comment made by Stephenf or any of the OCEs to my reference to Gondola ‘moving on’.
Since Gondola’s apparent departure, it is patently obvious that the Stephenf and the OCEs are struggling to respond to questions posed, particularly over the weekends.
It would appear from recent postings that TalkTalk customers submitting questions in which they seek assistance/help (that Gondola was so efficient at answering and solving) would appear to be getting more and more frustrated with the lack of help, viz ‘Andrea 651’, ‘Blodwynblod’ to name but two.
Other methods of obtaining help – telephoning customer support – would appear to be met with a certain amount scepticism in view of responses that are promised within 48 hours or 72 hours.
TalkTalk NEEDS the services of Gondola, so my question is this.
Will Gondola be returning to the Forum?
