I have 2 Tiscali email addresses in use. For some time now, I have been asked to re-enter my password when I try to check emails. It still doesn't work, so I delete both accounts then add them again. This only works for a short time then it all happens again. I now want to cancel them, but I need to know I can still use the email address of one of them as a sign in address. Can I? Thanks.

Cannot reset email password
Hi,
I have forgotten my email login password. Unfortunately my listed mobile number is my old one so when I try to reset the password I only have the option of emailing my email address I cannot access or to text my old mobile number which I also cannot access.
Please advise how I can reset my details.

If I were to leave TT what would happen to my e-mail account. Would I still be able to use it via the web platform or would it be cancelled and vanish for ever?

E-mails deleted from in-box
Has anybody else experienced e-mails being deleted from their in-box? I went to check my e-mails and all e-mails prior to this Wednesday have been deleted from my in-box? Any ideas?

Cannot connect to IMAP server
I cannot connect the talktalkt IMAP server since I tried to change my mail password. I am using outlook 2016 and when I try to repair the account it says connection to the incoming IMAP mail server was dropped. As far as I know I am using the setting that talkttalk recommend. How can I fix this?

Cannot connect to mail server
Yesterday I kept getting asked for my email password (which I haven't changed) but eventually I did receive emails. Today I just get a message saying that Outlook cannot connect to the server (error 0x800CCC0E). My GMail account (which I also access through Outlook) is working fine so it is unlikely to be an issue at my end. I have seen that other people (looking on DownDetector) are also reporting this problem.

Pop up box
I keep getting a box appear asking me to type in user name and password - which has already been entered - but when I press ok it just goes for a few seconds and then reappears
Cannot get email to send - says started transmitting but then does not let me access and does not send

Line SMTP not working
Yesterday, my Lineone email account stopped sending mail.
I get an SMTP error on my email client (Em Client) on my PC.
The error states that
"connecting to emailaddress@lineone.netfailed [SMTP] An attempt to connect failed. This could be caused by temporary server unavailabilityor incorrect settings"
I have checked my settings with the TalkTalk advice mentioned elsewhere in this forum (smtp.tiscali.co.uk, 587, SSL, Outgoing authentication but it doesn't work. I have reset all my passowrds this also fails to resolve the issue.
I have pointed Gmail at my lineone email address on my android tablet - this has also failed.
The TalkTalk Web client continues to send mail but this isn't a solution - all my archives are in eM client. And unfortuantely, the TalkTalk web client won't show the settings it is using so I can't cut and paste them over.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Email down?
Both IMAP and webmail seem to be down.
Had a few slowness issues yesterday afternoon (Friday 29 June) in terms of receiving mail but they seemed to resolve.
Overnight it seems to now be down, with it saying “imap.tiscali.co.uk” is not responding and on talktalk webmail, it likewise says its unable to connect to server and it may be temporarily down (this is after logging in). Tried on different browsers and on usual internet / mobile internet.

e mail account disabled
An e mail addres linked to my account "has been disabled due to incorrect credentials- please edit"
I eventually found the edit function but there is no section for credentials and no other changes have any effect the account is still shown as disabled.
Historically this address was set up as part of my main account, became separated (possibly when I acquired broad band or fibre to cabinet), and was then relinked after receiving a message that facilities would be reduced unless linked to a main account.

Talktalk Email Not Working
My talktalk email isn't working on my PC, but the linked Tiscali address is OK. I get this message: Unable to connect to e-mail server. Possible reasons: The e-mail server is (temporarily) down or there are network connection problems. Please try again in a few minutes.
It's been like this for a few hours now.

Unable to receive emails on any platform
For a while now I have been unable to receive email on one of my talktalk email addresses. The others in our family are all working fine. I get the message unable to connect to mail.talktalk.net. I have followed the instructions to update the settings but it hasn't helped. Can anyone advise what I can do. Thanks

Just wanted to say this has happened to us too, my email account is fine my wifes can't send or receive emails, rejects her password , which we have changed through the website. Seems it has happened to a lot of people, tried everything on the forums but nothing works, ringing is pointless 35 mins and no answer. I think talktalk should acknowledge it and post something.

Emails not loading!
My emails will not download on my phone, says error connecting to server. Then I try to log in on webmail on my phone, type in my email and password and the click login and the screen just goes white. I try to login to webmail on my PC and after entering my details and clicking login, the screen goes white with 3 grey dots, like a loading screen but just stays on this forever.
My emails have been like this for 2-3 days now, any ideas?

Thunderbird refusing to send emails ...
I have always used Thunderbird without problems for my tiscali email address but suddenly get the message "Too many recipients". When I use the Troubleshooter it alleges there is an incompatible programme. Any clues?

Talk Talk's mail server intermediate certificates have expired
I'm seeing certificate errors when checking email. I went to check the certificate and find that, although the actual server certificate for mail.talktalk.net is valid, its two intermediate certificates have expired. Details copied from:
