pobox.com (my email-address-for-life provider) wrongly flagged some
emails as spam. When I released them most appeared in my TalkTalk inbox but three did not. I released one of them five times but it never got through to my inbox or spam folders. I released it to gmail where it did arrive.
Where are the three emails TalkTalk simply lost?

Im getting the same issues. been deleating for a few weeks now and still getting apparantly nowhere.
My webmail page is blank. Am using Chrome browser on Macbook Pro. Same thing happens with Safari. Have been using Webmail for years with no problem and am sure everything including Java is up to date on my system.
This is a big worry because a member of my family is very ill and I get lots of updates vie email.

I have a tiscali e mail address which I want to link to my smartphone however I do not know the pasword for the e mail address and it is not registered in My Account so I cannot change the password there.Also I do not have a password recovery set up. I have tried online chats with talktalk but they either dont undesand my problem or just send me an e mail about how to change/re set password but it needs the original passsword which I dont have.

Yesterday this was fine but today I can't retrieve any email from pop.dsl.pipex.com and any email sent to smtp.dsl.pipex.com never makes out of the TT mail system.
Can you please check the service status.
We have two users (laptops), one using Windows 10 Mail Live, the other a Mac running Thunderbird. One is at home on TT broadband, the other is on O2 Mobile Broadband. Neither working today. Also, the imap.dsl.pipex.com service accessed by iPhone Mail is also not working.
Both mailboxes associated with the same Pipex/TT account.
Done the usual cross testing from another (non TT) mail account, and no mail is getting in or out to Pipex mailbox.
Email just reaponds with "Cannot connect to server". Broadband is OK 38MB down and 5MB Up which is about normal. Nothing can get email, no wifi or PC. Web mail is working. This has appened several times since Sunday, but today has been off altogether for about 2 hrs now.
Is it a TT sever thing again?
On Sunday 25th I had a problem with my email where Thunderbird timed out before I got a connection to the IMAP.Talk Talk server. While I could view my mail via webmail these did not download via Thunderbird. I raised a topic on here, but after a number of intermittent downloads the problem seemed to correct itself and since Monday everything has worked perfectly.
This afternoon, OCE Ady asked how I was getting on & I foolishly told him everything was OK. I say foolishly, because half an hour later the problem is back. It also seems to effect webmail, as I got the same pop up box saying it had timed out; however after a minute this disappeared and after a 2 to 3 minute delay my unread emails load up. However Thunderbird still times out & cannot get a connection.
On and off for about a week now.
POP and IMAP cannot connect and Webmail is struggling.
All very random and typical of Talktalks email system.
Don't suppose anything to be done except wait and hope.

Can an OCE please tell me what is going on with the email service? Since yesterday luncthime I have been unable to access Talktalk email either using an email client, or through webmail.
I have been able to send emails from the email client though.
If there is a problem, which there would appear to be, why does the service status page say all is well?

Have been unable to access via Thunderbird for several days now. Intermittent and very slow access if I try and access via webmail What is going on TalkTalk? This is an appalling service, please sort it out!

Can access email through password and web address on PC. Screen which should contain emails just has logout on it written twice?
so you dont have to manually add spam senders to your blocking filters, why not add an easy option on the inbox and to add the sender to your unwanted filter?
Using the Spam button does not trigger a learning system for the antispam layer to redirect the same email again in the spam folder.

Since sunday this week (25th Feb), I have been unable to access my emails through any device. Upon reading some other forums I have seen that the password is needing to be reset? So I am wondering how I go about doing this.
