Not receiving all my e-mail

I am getting phone calls from some of my correspondents asking if I've got their e-mails?

Others are getting their messages to me without difficulty.

Example: One correspondent can't reach me using a gmail address, but another one can.

I am using Windows Live Mail 2012 as my client. My e-mail address is a TalkTalk Business one, ending 'f2s.com'.

I seem to be able to send out e-mails to everybody without problems.

I check my spam regularly - nothing important there.

None of the missing e-mail addresses is on my 'blocked senders' list

I get the same few messages (i.e. none of the missing ones) if I use TalkTalk Business webmail to look for them, so I'm guessing it's not my client that's at fault...?

I get the impression this problem is getting worse, but I can't be sure.

I wonder if this merits a fault ticket. Help please, it's becoming a real problem!


Sending emails from Cyprus where I am on holiday does not always work.

I live in London but now in Cyprus I have the following problem. The emails stay in the outbox. A message appears which says: Enter Network Password. It shows also the server: smtp.talktalk.net. the it shows: User Name: Varni@talktalk.net and my password. I folloe the instructions but it does not work. Can you help? Thanks. The wifi is from CYTA, the Cyprus broadband provider.

Can't send emails to some domains - get 554 and 552 error

I am getting 554 & 552 errors 'Mail Delivery Failed' messages returned when sending from talktalk to certain other accounts:

I get these example messages:

The talktalk IP address where the emails are sent from appears on some blacklists:

Protected Sky - TTTL 3064
Spamhaus ZEN - TTL 300

So it seems the talktlak IP addresses are been blacklisted in some cases.

Can this be investigated and resolved?

I'm not receiving any emails through my  "@tiscali.co.uk" on any device i have tried, and my webmail inbox is empty.  I can send emails with it  from webmail and from any divice without a problem. (can send but not receive), I am using a different email address to receive replies to this problem which is a gmail address, and is working fine.

 

Any help would be appreciated to rectify this problem.

Hello.  I am getting [somebody]@tiscali.co.uk; Failed; 5.1.1 (bad destination mailbox address)

Remote MTA mx.tiscali.co.uk: SMTP diagnostic: 550 5.1.1 5VxYcKmkFowYI Recipient Undeliverable (TT512).

Does this mean the address is incorrect or could there be another reason for the failure?

Unable to access Tiscali email account

Please help.  I have a tiscali.co.uk email address that I am unable to access.  It is not recognising the password, but I am unable to reset it as the account and a second tiscali backup account are unrecognised.

I am not a Talk Talk account as I moved house 6 years ago and BT were the only available Broadband provider.

Thank you in anticipation that this can be solved.

I'm unable to login to one of the 5 email addresses set up in my account. I have changed the password for the account after following guidance from the live chat team but I still get access it.

does anybody have any suggestions?

Hi, I am unable to access my tiscali webmail. I was able to log on earlier today, but unable to 'see' my inbox (the screen kept going blank), so I did a live webchat to try to address the issue and since then, haven't been able to log on at all - they have completely mucked it up! It now gives me a message saying 'invalid user name / password', but my user name is correct as is my password. Any ideas why it's suddenly stopped working and what have your LiveChat done to my webmail?! I was given reference no: INC000014348063. Please help asap.

I get the message below when I try to send emails from my tiscali address to this particular recipient. Any boffins out there that can explain to me in simple terms what is happening and how can I sort it out please? Many thanks

Emails on a Mac

Hello everyone. Newbie to the community. I had my talk talk pop account set up on my Mac (on the Mac email program), had trouble so deleted the account in settings with the aim of recreating it. Now it tells me that I can't recreate the account as it is already there! any ideas?

Hi, on the 9th of November my lineone.net email has stopped working through gmail, giving me an invalid username or password error. It's been working for many years , so this is out of the blue. Please could you help me sort it out as I use this email address every day. I will put the details I have in my personal info.

I have lineone email address. It's slamdunk-@lineone.net    I don't use this email address very much but it is an address i still use to login to certain things. Recently I noticed I wasn't getting any of my lineone emails. I tried sending one to myself and it came back undeliverable. I then went to talk talk and tried to sign into my account only to be told that I couldn't log into my a account because "something is wrong with this account" "please contact support". So here I am. Can someone please tell me what's up this my lineone account. Thanks and I look forward to hear from someone. Thanks again.

Dial.pipex email outgoing mail issue

I have been using dial.pipex for e-mails for many years, and have no had problems until summer 2016, which at the time I thought was due to transferring to a 'new' computer running Windows 7; previously I had been using XP.  However, according to the 'experts' at TalkTalk this was a server rather than a local problem.  It lasted several weeks, but normal service was resumed.

 

However, from 5 November onwards I have been able to receive mail as normal, but any out going messages fail to go.  The error message I get is along the lines of

 

"An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: 

<an.other@mailserver.co.uk> recipient rejected - relay denied.

 Please check the message recipient "an.other@mailserver.co.uk" and try again"

 

This appears to be the same for all email addresses I endeavour to contact, including those I use on a daily basis; they cannot all have an error!

 

What might have changed to cause this problem?  Or is it with the dial.pipex server?

 

I am using Mozilla Thunderbird as my email application.

LineOne EMail Account

Hi

 

I have had a LineOne email account for 20 years or so. It hasn't been associated to any other service for at least 10 years, but I do still use the email account. For about a week it has been reporting the ID/password as invalid. I can't log into My Account, because I don't think I have an account as such, so I can't reset the password or view mails on line. I sent a test message to the account, and it has not been returned, so I assume the account still exists.

 

Can you advise how I can do whatever is needed to reset this account? The address is julian.platts@lineone.net.

Hi OCE_Ady,

Many thanks for helping with my Lineone email problem - TT gave me a new password and it seems to be working fine.

However I cannot register this address in 'My Account' as I wanted to change the password and hopefully set up new recovery details, just in case. The message that I get when trying the 'Manage existing address' option is - 'Cannot be added to this account because the email address or password was incorrect'. I know that I have typed them in correctly.

Can you help?

I have had no access to my primary email address for 2 weeks now.

 

I tried using the online chat service to resolve the problem as your website email reset password service is not functioning but after being told my case had been escalated and given a reference number, no one has contacted me in over a week and i have no idea what the situation is. On top of that i have been recieving scam phone calls from fake talktalk call centers pretending to be technical support, phising emails sent to people on my contact list from the email address I can't access, oh and for all I know, I am receiving important emails about job opportunities, my family or other little things.

 

Somebody help me please.

I, also, have not been able to access my lineone emails since Friday 11th. When I try to reset my password as I have had to do several times recently, I get a message - 

' Password reset not available at present time. Sorry for any inconvenience.'

I have messaged Talk Talk but operative said my email did not exist or it had been closed, even though I have had approximately 20 emails every day.

I then tried emailing Talk Talk but person had obviously not read email and suggested I tried messaging!

Feeling very frustrated and annoyed that Talk Talk don't care. 

Please help.
