Can someone explain to me why Talktalk e-mail has suddenly started deleting all E Mail Filter Rules I have established? And, even more helpfully, how I stop them being deleted???? Grateful for any advice or help. Many thanks.

retaining talktalk email address
In 5 days I change internet provider but need to retain my talktalkmail address. i am willing to sign up for monthly direct debit but system won't let me do this as I am still talk talk customer but I do not want gap where I am disconnected from email. Please help me set up so this works when talktalkbroadband is disconnected. thanks

Broadband Fault
Good morning, my broadband has stopped working this morning which is critical for me to work from home.
Can anyone assist ASAP, the light on the router is just solid red and I have tried the usual power cycle etc.

Unable to send talktalk emails from gmail
I have a gmail account which I have added my talktalk email account to. I can receive talktalk emails ok but when I send using my talktalk email I get this message
"You're sending this from a different address or alias using the 'Send mail as' feature. The settings for your 'Send mail as' account are misconfigured or out of date. Check those settings and try resending."
I have been through the settings and checked everything, smtp.talktalk.net, Port 587, TLS for outgoing all seems good. HELP

Reset Onetel email password please

outlook 2007 won't send emails
I've been using outlook 2007 for years and today for no reason at all, it has decided to stop sending emails and I haven't changed a thing.
I've check the account properties and done a test and it says:
"Send test e-mail message: The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP)"

TalkTalk email set up on Samsung s9
Hi, having problems setting up TalkTalk email on s9 Android,
I’ve been using an iPhone & just got a galaxy s9. Going into the gmail app which is default, put email address in select IMAP will not bring settings up, saying problem with security settings, cannot enter any settings. I’ve not transferd data over from iPhone to s9 as waiting for the
adapter to transfer.
when I transfer dater over will the emails copy over onto the gmail default.
just trying manually to set up email to carry on with.
any body with any knowledge of this would be grateful.

I have not been able to access my emails since last Thursday up until then all was working fine I have spoken to Customer Services who talked me through lots of things that might have been the problem but to no avail I ended up talking to bereavement as they thought that there was a ;problem with my account name but that turned out not to be the case. Two gentleman from your facebook site have spent most of the afternoon trying to solve the issue again to no avail. Help where do I go next,.

Potential email hack
Hello. I have been asked to confirm credentials of an email address on my mobile. It then tells me the password is incorrect. On signing in to my account, the recovery details (Phone and email) are not mine. Does this suggest my account has been hacked? How can I change my password with the recovery details being incorrect? Email messages stopped arriving..... check redirects setting via webmail .
There’s a lot of people with same problem. Is this a new general hack of Talktalk mail system?? Mail is being redirected.
i have had same problem and after getting no help from OCE_ady, eventually worked it out myself. My daughter first noticed problem with Amazon saying her contact number had been removed as requested. When she went in to fix that she found that she could not reset Amazon password because no more emails coming from talktalk.
The only way to access the redirect settings is via talktalk webmail.

not receiving Wix emails
hi all
Just wondering if anyone has had problems with Wix notification emails (e.g. website renewal) not being received?
I've just encountered / discovered this.
I've a lineone.net account.
Nothing in the webmail spam and nothing in my local email client.
Wix claim a renewal email was sent but i never received it.
I've not received any wix emails (marketing or core account stuff) for 10 months.
I was able to receive stuff from them fine back in June / July 2019.
I wonder if this subsequent comms absence coincides with the adoption of the new mail platform.
Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated.

Closing an old tiscali email account
I have an old tiscali email account which I never use. The other day an email was forwarded to my present email address from amazon.com.au saying that someone had changed the email address on their account to my tiscali account. I have telephoned amazon who tell me to ignore the email as it will be a scam. Can anyone help me with the following, as I have had no success either on the website or by telephoning talktalk:
1. How do I report this event to talktalk?
2. As the email account is redundant, how do I Close it?

Tiscali Email hacked
My Tiscali Email has been hacked as part of an Amazon related scam.
I have reset the password, disabled the filters and updated the reset details.
However, I am noticing a number of 'odd messages' in the drafts folder that I haven't created, indicating the account is still being manioukated?
Can anyone help?

Is it possible to delete my Tiscali email account as someone else has gained access to it.
Several reset requests for my other accounts have been made by them.
I have requested a password reset several times for my email account, however, these have not been successful.
They have also changed my Facebook account which I can no longer access and have made transactions to Facebook from my PayPal account.
I look forward to hearing from you in this matter.

Unknown Ip address using my router.
Hi
I have a sagemcom router (only 2 months old) but having had Wi-Fi connection issues I decided to log in to my router.
There are 2 IP addresses I don't recognise but one was for gaming and one was for music- both were for Age of Empires, which no-one in my home uses. I managed to somehow block one of the IP addresses and I've changed the router password, but cannot block nor remove the remaining IP address. Please can someone help me?

Email filter rules and how to use them
Hi, Recently amount of spam emails has gotten out of control so decided to investigate email filtering to get them back to a manageable number.
I went via settings to Filter Rules and to add new rule, then I set up a rule which is labelled 'discard' as I just don't want them on my system.
But I have a number of questions;
-should all of the emails that I wish to have discarded be in the same rule, or is it OK to have numerous rules which all have say 50 email addresses which you want to be be discarded?
-is discard the same as delete? Or does it have any subtle nuances that I need to know about?
-as an example of an email address lets say I receive spam from 'news.05@vwxyz-207.com', do I have to put all of this email address in the filter rule or can I put in just part of it? If I have to put all of it in, then all the spammers have to do is modify it slightly and they have millions of ways to send me spam and I have to keep updating my filters.
If looking through the mails it appears to me that the repeating/consistent part of the address is '@vwxyz' or even 'vwxyz' could I put just these pieces of the email address in the filter?
-what should I expect the success rate of the filter to be e.g., if in my example I enter the relevant piece of the address or all of it, depending on your answer to my question above - should I expect never to be bothered by mails form that email address or part thereof again?
