A load of messages that I sent up to 4 years ago suddenly seem to all have been resent yesterday morning at 12.02pm. I was nowhere near a computer at the time, so it wasn't me. I only know what was sent by the puzzled replies I started getting. Why did this happen?

I have lost access to an old email account and have tried everything to get access to it .nothing works cant even find if there is any a live chat with admin of sorts. also was told if i pay for an account that i would get my old email accounts unlocked to my new paid for account how to get this fixed?

Forgotten Password (No help from Talktalk so far)
Hello all
I've forgotten the password to one of my email addresses. I contacted TT for help to reset it via Chat last Monday (18 May). Very long story short, I managed to get the problem escalated and was told I'd be contacted within 72 hours.
The next day there was a problem with the landline. Once that had been resolved, the agent asked if there was anything else she could help with, and I mentioned my password problem. She confirmed the email address was "live" and said someone would get back to me within 48 hours to help me recover it. Nothing...crickets...
On Friday I asked via Chat when I could expect my problem to be resolved. I was told there was a backlog, Covid-19, etc, and that they had no idea when I would be contacted.
If you've got this far, thank you for reading.
My question is am I being unreasonable in thinking this is something which should have been resolved by now? I know we're living in very strange times and I appreciate I'm not the only pebble on the beach, but I need to get access to that email address and I'm upset by TT's apparent lack of customer service.
Your opinions would be much appreciated, as would any suggestions as to how to get this matter resolved. [I noticed an earlier suggestion on another thread to delete the email address and immediately reinstate it, and I would have done that, except I need access to the emails which have been sent there.]

Hi,
I've had a virgin.net email address for 20 years. today I changed the password and now I can't get in. I called virgin media as I have Virgin Broadband but they say a different email address is associated with the broadband (ntlworld), therefore I can't enter the virginmedia account number and billing details to reset my password.
Can anyone tell me who to contact to reset my virgin.net password when it's not linked to a Virginmedia account?

Problem recieving meesages from my shopify account
Shopify is unable to send ANY emails to TalkTalk or TIscali customers due to them rejecting the SPF certificate. This is really important as my customers who have a talktalk or tiscali account cannot be contacted even for bills that they have paid. TalkTalk are not answering any questions and shopify are implying they are on a black list. Can anyone help Please?
Spam filter is not working....
My father uses his talktalk email for virtually everything.
He is constantly receiving spam. Every time I visit him I mark the emails as spam.
But, they still keep appearing in his inbox.
He's 85 and doesn't understand how to apply filters or even mark them as spam.
Unfortunately - he's been caught out a few times thinking they are genuine emails, which they aren't.
I've tried to get him to change to gmail as they filter spam out quite well. But again he doesn't think this can be done.
Is there any way spam filters could be applied more stringently to the inbox??
I'm sure other TT customers are having these problems too.
Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
mail plus subscription not up to date
I am paying £ 5 a month for this service but when I log in to my account it tells me.......You do not have an active TalkTalk Broadband or TalkTalk Mail Plus subscription, so you are no longer able to create or add new email accounts. I have a 2nd email address associated with this account which doesn't show and as it thinks I don't have a subscription and so I cant change anything!

My talktalk email has been hacked, when I try to recover the password the recovery e-mail is the talktalk email and the phone number has seemed to change as well.
I tried to register for My Account but when i put in my account number and landline number it says insufficient informaiton

I received a wedding invitation previously from a friend via mail@mail.punchbowl.com on 10/04/2020.
Due to Covid-19 they've had to rearrange the event to next year and tried in the last three days to send another invite. Howver that latest email bounced back and TalkTalk said my email address did not exist. My friend tried again without success so I suggested he use a hotmail address of mine. This was successful and acceptance of the invite acknowledged.
We are in contact by email OK between my talktalk address and his yahoo. Why might this have occurred?

Stating my account will be deactivated on 31st may!
Hi I recieved an email from talktalk this morning stating that my mail plus account is going to be deactivated on the 31st may because of a payment issue with credentials not being correct to take the payment in may. I have paid you guys on the 13th may this month and the payment was cleared with my bank. Why 2 days before it's due to be disconnected am I receiving this email. It tells me to click and change my account details in the my account section of the website. Naturally I didnt click the email. I pay for a service from you guys because I need those emails. Why is it being disconnected in 2 days if I have already paid you this month. Please confirm.... thank you.
Keeping tiscali email address
My elderly mum uses her tiscali email address even though she uses another internet provider for broadband. I have found some emails from a few months ago which indicates that she will need to pay £5 a month to keep it going. She is happy to do this if she can carry on using Microsoft Outlook (using SMTP and IMAP).
She is happy to pay this, but how would i set this up ? The link in the old email does not work.
I've logged into Tiscali webmail and it is still working but there does not seem to be a way to subscribe to this £5 service.

Received ‘Sorry you are leaving’ email
Received leaving email even though I have NOT asked to leave - in fact I don’t even know how to ring TalkTalk as the helplines are closed. On the email it says to call 0345 172 0121 before my service ends - is this a genuine phone number please? I tried to google the number but nothing comes up.

Error message when sending an email via Tiscali
Not for the first time I got the following message when sending a phishing email report to TT via my Tiscalli account this morning. In the message it states the following sentence, and in regards to that, I have not used my Tiscali email to send an email for about 2 weeks now. It just seems to happen when sending this type of report to TT.
