Cannot Access Tiscali Email Account

I have not been able to access my emails by any method since late Thursday or Early Friday August 10/11.  Am getting "The username or password fo tiscali,co.uk is incorrect".

 

Prior to that, for some time, often the account would not send emails for a couple of hours around midday!

 

It appears from posts that a number of people are affected.

 

All my details have been updated but it would appear something has been done at HQ to cause the issue and, hopefully, a button can be pushed to pit it all back as was!

 

If not please will someone take the necessary action and let me know how best to proceed?

I need my Tiscali email back !!!!!

Since April i have not been able to access my tiscali emails.

I am no longer a TalkTalk customer and it was exactly around a year after cancellation that my tiscali email address became unaccessable, i have phoned and spoken to your technical team four timess, costing me quite a bit and they were useless.

This is MY email address i have many accounts attatched to it two of which are online banking.

I have tried the reset password which do not arrive in my other email account, i cannot change my email address to my new one as i need to be able to access my Tiscali email first.

Please sort it out.

Locked out of talk talk email

I have had a talk talk email address for about ten years, about six years ago I left talk talk for a different service provider. Last week I found after six years I was locked out of my account and could not enter my password as it was always showing incorrect. Previous to this issue I have wed my email for the past six years every single day. I have tried to resolve this online and over the phone but with no luck.

The issues is I do not have any of the following 

NO talk talk account number

NO talk talk landline number 

Which seems to be what is always asked for on these forums.

the main issue is this email address is / was my primary email for everything over the last ten years, how can I get back to my email account???

Can't log in to ukgateway.net email

Running my old ulgateway.net email account through PC runnning Windowas 10 as default Windows mail account, and linked to my iphone as a mail account. Both accounts set up fine, and worked perfectly for a while, then received a message on both devices that the settings were out of date. Can't access the account to reset password. Help!

Hello, as the subject states.  I can log onto webmail with my "@homecall.co.uk" email addresses without any problem, it is only the "@talktalk.net that i cannot log on to.

 

When i click the log on button nothing happens.

Forgot to mention...........i can get emails on the .net account using my email program (Thunderbird). It is only the webmail that has the problem.

Hi - I feel I've had no choice but to air this in public as the phone advisor couldnt help with technical email issues and the live chat facility isnt working.......

I recently found I wasnt receiving emails on any of my devices and havn't had an email in my inbox since 3rd July.

I was apparently able to send emails, but couldnt get any replies....

I finally called Talktalk and the advisor was able to switch the incoming server port number so I can now receive emails.

The problem now is the missing months worth of emails that have been sent to my talktalk email but have not been forwarded to me.

I also have no record of the sent emails...

Does anyone know if these emails can be recovered?

What worries me is that there is no link to look at the ticket referenced in the subject of the email...

Hello, my Inbox says that there are 20 odd emails but there aren't; there are only about 6 and I can't seem to clear them to the correct number. Any ideas please ?

I wonder if you can help me please?

 

We are a travel agency that have customers who have given us permission to send them weekly offers to the their inbox.

 

However your servers are rejecting the emails and we receive the following bounceback...

Please can you advise what we need to do in order for emails from our servers to be able to get through to our mutual customers.  Is there any way we can get onto your safe senders list?

Can't access LineOne email account

Hello, For some reason I'm no longer to access my lineone.net email account. I've had this account for many years and it's used extensively. When I try to login I get the message username or password are incorrect - but I know they are correct. Can you please re-enable my account? As requested in previous posts, I've updated the personal information within my profile with the email address affected and my other personal details.

Hello,

 

I posted over a week ago about this issue but haven't had a response and I really need access to my emails again! When I try to log into my Tiscali emails on the talktalk web page it keeps coming up with the same message; 'Invalid username or password, please try again.'

 

I know my username and password are correct and have tried several times to log in. Emails have also stopped working on my phone. I don't have a talktalk account so I am unable to reset my password that way.

 

I have added the information to my private notes on my community profile as requested for other people to do with the same issue. I don't think there is a phone number connected to my email account.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No longer receiving emails with my LINEONE email account

My lineone email account is no longer receiving message, I can send emails from the account but have not received any emails since May 2017.  I deleted emails to ensure that it inbox was not full but when I send emails to that lineone account from my hotmail account or gmail account they are not received.  Any ideas how ro fix this?

Hi, i have been unable to receive my talktalk.net emails since monday 7th August, i can send mails but not receive, is there anyone out there who has had the same issue.

My lineone email stopped working.  Looking through here it may be the fact I was using a simple password so I followed the instructions to reset it but got an error message .

Hi,

 

since last week I have lost the ability to access my Tinyworld account from any device. Webmail doesnt work either saying that the password is wrong and when I try to reset it says that my address is not recognised.

 

I notice from the community that I'm not alone in this, as it seems to have impacted not only Tinyworld but also Tiscali and Lineone email accounts. 

 

As I interpreted from some of the other threads I have read, I have added the required information to the privacy notes section of my profile. 

 

Can you please help rectify access to this important email account?

Can't access Tisacli Email Messages

I'm having a nightmare, up until Monday morning I could access my emails perfectly fine
When I tried to review them yesterday I received an error message saying my username or password were incorrect
I tried webmail and have the same issue
After a number of calls being passed back and forth yesterday I was told Talk Talk decided to suspend a whole load of accounts and just so happens mine is one of them

There was no communication regarding this, I've used this account for years and today I'm expecting an email that I have to pay money on and have no way to get details to contact the people sending it without getting into my emails

Today I've spent a further 2 hours on the phone trying to get an update after being told yesterday it's just a password reset

The service is terrible - does anyone have any advice on what else I can do

I'm currently sat on hold and have been for the last 10 minutes

Setting Up Toucan Email on a Smartphone

Having bought an Android smartphone recently, I have been looking for information on the settings needed to access my accounts on the phone.  The TalkTalk help pages give this information and I noticed a warning there that might explain why I have never had success using MS Outlook on my laptop to send messages via my Toucansurf addresses when away from home.  It says:

 

Unfortunately if you’re not connected to a TalkTalk Internet connection it’s not possible to access your email account on a device such as a laptop, smartphone or tablet. Access via third party networks such as other broadband and mobile providers is not possible.  Top Tip: Why not create an .net email address which allows access via a mobile device?

 

This is not stricly accurate as I can download messages, just not send any unless I use webmail.  It is also not helpful since getting a talktalk.net address would defeat the whole object of sending/receiving emails from an address that all my friends know.  If I wanted to do this I would go the Gmail or Ymail route!

 

Anyway, is there a way to get round this before I go to the effort of setting up the phone's mail app, only to find I can't send anything from name@toucansurf.com?  I was planning to use IMAP settings as they do not clear emails from the server; and leave my desktop PC using POP3 so as to have one machine that does clear the server after download.

 

I also notice that the TT help page gives firstname.lastname@homecall.co.uk as the username format to use, whereas my machines all use name@toucansurf.com.  So what should I use in future since my email addresses are not in the form of firstname.lastname?  For example, one address is similar to fbloggs@toucansurf.com and another fabloggs@toucansurf.com.

Desperatly need to log on to an old Tiscali email can get into the actual account but everytime I try to get into the emails it says this driving me potty Ok so it seems the account has not been opened in over a year and that why I cant log on to it. the password and everything i think is ok its just been sent to the library basement i think. Unfortunatly my (ratty) 14 yr olds i cloud is attached to this account and I need to access it to change it any help please desperate Thankyou
