Your IMAP Server has closed the connection.

Hello

I can read my talktalk mail perfectly through a web browser but via Outlook, I continually get the message "your IMAP server closed the connection" and no mail is downloaded.

I tried Mozilla Thunderbird and it connected perfectly first time and downloaded my inbox, but from the 2nd try onwards, now I get the message "Login to server imap.talktalk.net failed".  I know I have the correct password because it works through the web browser.

Any hints as to what the problem might be ?
