I have two ISP at home. My original one which I use all the the time is Talk Talk a with a Netgear router. In addition I have a BT wifi with their router.
Yesterday I connected my laptop to the BT router which allowed me to send but not receive emails on my original lineone.net email address. (It is very old and pre-dates Tiscali and Talk Talk - Lineone was one of the old legacy companies purchased into the Talk Talk brand.)
I have just reconnnected to Talk Talk with the Netgear router and email l works again.
This now brings up the question why is this?
Every time I take my laptop elsewhere and connect to a separate wifi, I have the same problem of beng able to receive lineone.net emails but not send. I have gmail and btinternet email addresses which are able to able to receive and send so are not being affeceted in the same way.
I have exactly the same problem using my HTC smart phone.
Can anyone in Talk Talk or the forum explain this please. Is anyone else still using lineone.net email addresses having the same issues?
