why does mail keep logging me out in about 5 - 10 seconds when trying to read an email from eBay?

This used to happen with Facebook, now cured , but it won't let me read down eBay mails for long.  Relogged 4 times, and still not reached the bottom of the 'item won' email. Very annoying and frustrating.
