On 14/12/15, I tried to logon to my Tiscali email account & received a message saying that my password was invalid. I contacted TalkTalk via the online chat & was told that some Tiscali accounts had been sending spam emails & their passwords had been deactivated. I was given an issue reference number: INC000012851217 & told that I would be sent texts which provide a new password within 24-48hrs.
On 15/12/15, I received several texts that said that they had tested the line & thought that everything was working. I texted back NOT FIXED as I still hadn't received my new password. Further texts asked me to call, which I did. During the phone call, I provided my name, address, telephone number & mobile number & was told that my problem had been escalated & I would receive further texts which would provide my password.
On 16/12/15, I received further texts which asked me to confirm if the problems was FIXED or NOT FIXED. I confirmed that it was NOT FIXED. I then had a text asking me to call, otherwise they would assume that everything was OK.
On 17/12/15, I called TalkTalk on 2 separate occasions, as well as doing an online chat, & had to run though the problem again. I was again told that my problem had been escalated & I would receive texts within 24-48hrs which would solve the problem. Soon after my call, I received another text stating that TalkTalk were now assuming that my problem had been fixed & to text NOT FIXED if I still had the problem.
On 18/12/15, I texted back NOT FIXED.
Since then, I have not had any further communication from TalkTalk.
Today, 19/12/15, I looked at the TalkTalk online community, & noticed that there was a post which gave a link to up to date information about the Tiscali email password problem that many people were having, (http://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/OLD-Known-Issues/Problems-with-TalkTalk-amp-Tiscali-Email-Webmail-29thNovember/td-p/1816399) but I couldn't view it as I wasn't a registered member. I have now registered with this community, but have not been able to view this article as "You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action."
Please can someone let me know when TalkTalk will be sending me my new password? Also, please could you let me know what I need to do so that I can look at the article mentioned above?
I would be very grateful for any help that you can give.
