Can't access my lineone.net email ref: INC000015389865
Hi,
Since around 7th Aug I haven't been able to log into into my lineone.net webmail. I get the invalid user name/password message then after 10 attempts the account is suspended for an hour.
I've had a web chat with an adviser who couldn't help, then rung and spoke to an adviser who logged it as a problem, have received texts saying problem resolved, replied NOT FIXED as requested - now have had a text referring back to the generic customer contact number 0345 172 0088. Going round in circles.
This email is really important to me, can you please help.

No longer able to get my Tiscali emails
My tiscali emails stopped arriving lastnight 17th Aug 2017.
I have spent 2 hours on TalkTalk "Chat" which failed to restore my tiscali email account.
I have always accessed tiscali through my Computer using Office 2003 Outlook, and I linked accounts as well in my Hotmail account.
Both now keep asking for the pass word to my tiscali account but after so many years I have no idea what it is.
As TalkTalk took over Tiscali why can they not reconnect me or provide a password that will work?
Note: My TalkTalk account password does not work for this Tiscali account, I have tried..

Cannot acceess lineone emails from this morning
Hi
I have a lineone email account linked to my account. In fact it is my main email and most regularly used and until this morning worked fine via my iMAC's email client and webmail.
I have logged in the morning and received the following message on the mail client "Mail cannot connect to the account......" (see attached screen capture Email messages 19.08.17). I tried logging in via webmail but had a similar message "Invalid username or password, please try again"
Logging into the My Account section on TT website I checked my email accounts and the lineone account seems to have disappeared (see attached screen capture Email messages 19.08.17).
I trust this account has not been deleted as it's my prime account that I use for most correspondence etc. Please help rectify / advise. I have added the usual information you have requested from other users to the Private information section on my profile.

Talktalk email automatically logs out
Hi. I have several pages of unread email, having been on holiday. I have reached the bottom of page 1 and when I press any "button" for another page number, I am automatically logged out. Not only can I not read my unread email, I am unable to access any older mails.

I am changing computers at the the moment and have forgotten my Tiscali password. My account doesn't recognise the tiscali address, but clearly it is still active as I am getting mail.

still lost emails
Having lost all messages in my inbox last friday,talking to talktalk technical , who were worse than useless, contacted a IT specialist who confirmed my laptop had no problems and everything was up to date. He stated the most likely cause was a problem at talktalk most likely one of iits servers going down and once it has been rebooted they should be able to find lost emails and return them to my inbox. I do not wish to go all through this with talktalk technical if some one at talktalk reads this would they please respond.Im sure they dont want another dose of bad publicity.

Disappearing legacy accounts.
Hi. I really hope someone can help as the talktalk technical phone support team refuses to help because im on a talk talk customer.
I have used a lineone email account for many years, which then became hosted by tiscali and then talk talk.
The account has worked fine for years but during last week my account just stopped working, without warning, and it appears talk talk have just closed my account, as I tried password recovery (despite me not having changed my password) but the email address isn't recognised.
I totally understand if they don't wish to keep my account live (I assumed it was viable due to the ads they served me) but would really appreciate if I could get access restored even just for a day as I have essential emails that I have no way of getting access to, and I was never told that my account was even at risk of being closed and really need to get hold of these.
Any help would be massively appreciated.

Problem downloading files for email account.
My email a/c with talktalk.net is setup with POP3. I am trying to set up 2nd a/c (to ensure it works before deleting 1st a/c) with IMAP. Instructed that "Windows Live Mail needs to download folders before you can read messages in this account".
Download stops. "Server unexpectedly terminated connection. Possible causes include server problems, network problems, long period of inactivity". Under "Details" Your IMAP command cuold not be sent to server due to non-network errors e.g. lack of memory on system". I have 528GB free.
Help please.

Lineone email - Password Not Recognised
I use the pop.lineone.net server to access my lineone.net email, I don't have webmail set up for that address, and up until about 0800 this morning I had no problems. Since then however it seems my password is no longer being recognised. I can log into send but not receive. Is there a known problem with the system or has my password somehow been changed without my knowledge.

email account has disappeared
Still trying to get access for my wife's tiscali email account, which disappeared without warning last Wednesday/Thursday. Been in touch everyday since, finally got a "fault raised" number and sms message, but still waiting. Have started copying chat messages should the ombudsman require them at some point.

Trying to edit in drafts
I have been using Windows 10 for two years and not had this problem before: I cannot edit a draft when I have saved it and want to finish my work before sending. I was able to "forward" it, re-enter the address I was sending it to and change anything that needed to be corrected that way, but it is not very satisfactory.
In "drafts", if I'd clicked on "edit" and then started clicking on the page it logged me out, so I had to keep logging myself back in. This happened repeatedly and I have no more time for it, so giving up!
Browser was Edge.
Perhaps you have not updated software to cope with the latest Windows 10 updates as it is since I managed to install the mid-August updates that this has happened?

Tinyworld.co.uk not accepting my password
Hi,
Within the last few days I have been unable to access my tinyworld email address as it keeps stating my password details are wrong. By undeliverable emails I have been receiving in another email account I think my tinyworld email address has been sending out some random emails to addresses that I have never heard of. Reading other posts I presume that I may have had this account blocked due to its behaviour.
I have not put a ticket in regarding this as I have spoken to TalkTalk on 2 previous occasions with the aim of linking this email to my TalkTalk account so that I could change the password for security reasons. On each occasion they failed and said they could not do it as it was too old.
If my email address has been blocked then obviously my password can be changed and your contacts in TalkTalk are the ones to sort it out for me, and possibly link it to my account so that I can change the password in future.
I have left my details I think you require on my private note section.

Can't access my Lineone email any longer
Hi there. Like many others on here, I suddenly lost access to my old Lineone email account even though I am using the current and correct set of credentials to login. All I am faced with when I use the "forgot your password" option is an error message that says "this option is not available at this time". I have no Talk Talk account or telephone number as I am a Lineone user from the days of Tiscali and all I use is the Lineone webmail. Nothing else. I have added an alternative email address to my profile as well as a mobile telephone number and I would hope this is enough information to start the password reset solution in action. Please let me know if I need to add further details to my profile.
