keeping my email address if I leave talktalk.

Can I keep my tiscali email address if I leave talktalk. if so what steps do i need to take to access it please.


Help required to delete unwanted Tiscali e-mail account please

 I have an unwanted Tiscali e-mail account which needs to be deleted. I am still able to login in to the account, but as I am not, nor have been, a TalkTalk phone customer I have no 'My Account' through which to do this. I have already had two such disused accounts deleted by TalkTalk support, so could someone please raise the necessary ticket for this one be done as well please? Account details are listed in my 'Private Info'. Thanks!

port 587 on Windows 10 PC

TalkTalk advise me that port 587 cannot be used on a Windows 10 PC, anyone else experienced this problem.  In its simplist terms is anyone able to use an IMAP Email account on a Windows 10 PC to send Emails.

Create a @tiscali.co.uk address

Hi There,

 

I used to have a @tiscali.co.uk which has been disabled for few years. 

 

I would like to reactivate it. How can I achieve this, please?

 

Do I need to sign up for a TalkTalk product in order to have this email back again?

Tinyworld email asking for password

i have a tinyworld email that I have used for around 18 years. 

 

All has been fine until this Tuesday when I started to get a 'password is incorrect' message both on my iPad and iMac and am unable to access via webmail as it doesn't recognise my email address. 

 

I've tried telephoning but the automated system is asking for my Talk Talk telephone number (I'm not an account holder of theirs) and webchat sent me around the houses for an hour and was no help at all. 

 

All I need to know is if there is an issue with the tinyworld server, and do I have a chance of ever accessing this account again?

I have an old lineone e mail address and for the past few weeks I have been unable to access it. I get the mesage that the passwod is not recognised, although nothing has changed on my side.

My e mails in my inbox are being deleted when I still need them.  How can I recover them?

When using my iPad my Tiscali Mail account has suddenly stopped sending messages

I have held a Tiscali email account for over 10 years and I receive,send and forward emails daily through my iPad. Just before Christmas any sent messages were 'rejected by the Tiscali server as my email account was not recognised'....and these messages dropped into my Outbox. I continue to receive emails but cannot send from my iPad.

i have not updated any settings on the iPad and I am on the latest operating system.

 I have experienced this problem before but only when trying to email to contacts in the UK when I am abroad. 

I suspect TalkTalk have updated something on the Tiscali server which has caused this problem does anyone know how this can be resolved?

 

Tiscali email password reset

I have not been able to access my tiscali email address for about a week now, I get a message saying Invalid username or password. I cannot reset the password from the forgotten your password link

Future proofing broadband message

Can someone confirm that the email I received on 13th Jan is genuine.   It says TalkTalk have started work on improvements to future proof broadband.   I don't need to do anything, just leave router on all the time (which I do anyway).   I cannot find anything about this anywhere.  I would have expected to at least find reference to it in TalkTalk My Account, but nothing.   I did not follow link in email, but am concerned that if this is not genuine, someone somewhere will access my router...........      Please can someone confirm this is above board.   Unfortunately, as another of my posts - I do not get replies to community posts and have to check the board regularly - which is yet another pain in the neck.    Actually I find the new  Community layout extremely confusing and very difficult to navigate, but then perhaps that is just me.

Tinyworld E-mail Account

I've been unable to login to my tinyworld email account for over 2 weeks now and I was expecting important emails from insurance companies etc and I can't login. I've added my details to the personal notes section, could some sort this asap. Thank you .

Can't access my Tiscali email

I am one of those experiencing the problem of not being able to access my Tiscali email - since before Xmas.

I have registered on this forum and completed all the details you ask for in your message.

I have become unable to send email to someone at BT Internet.com - 550 Message rejected for policy reasons (1.1.1.4) - Please check you have authority to send email from 212.74.114.9 on behalf of the domain lineone.net.

 

I eventually found something re changing outgoing SMTP (I have been using gotadsl for 7+ years). A test email to another (non BT Internet) account has worked but don't yet know if successful with BT Internet subscribers.

 

If settings are changed which stop historical SMTP etc settings from working, it would be helpful if impacted users were informed rather than having to work out why email no longer works.

Emails not arriving (to @dsl.pipex.com account)

Further to OCE_Ady's post in Jacinta's similar recent thread,

 

Last Sunday (8th Jan) I created an account and placed an order with www.toolsandpartsdirect.co.uk. I didn't get any email from them at all - no account creation acknowledgement, order confirmation, nothing - although I had a record of the payment so I knew it had gone through.

 

A couple of days afterward I tried to log in to check the order status but wasn't where I keep my password list - so I sent a password change request. The change request email didn't arrive either. After phoning them midweek to confirm that the order had actually been placed, they told me that it had been and that I should have been sent an email containing the order number and other details.

 

Last night I tried to log into my account at www.ffx.co.uk and place an order, but again couldn't remember my password and tried to change it. Again the password change request emails haven't arrived - despite now trying on four occasions, the last of which was at 15:06 this afternoon (Jan 16th).

 

Needless to say I have checked my junk folder and none of the missing emails are in there. It appears that mail from these two domains at least is being filtered/blocked somewhere, possibly by an overzealous junk filter. Clearly as they are automatically generated it will be somewhere between difficult and impossible to get the sender to forward the headers, although I can replicate them any time. It is also a relevant question now to ask what is happening to these - and any other mails that are caught in the same filter. Are they being bounced, or just deleted?

 

Pointers/fix appreciated - any further detail needed, just let me know :-)

 

Old lineone.net email not working

I have an old lineone.net net email account that I have used for years but since yesterday I have been unable to log in and get the message invalid user name or password.

 

Are there any issues at your end that you are aware of?

Deleting all old Pipex email addresses & aliases - HOW?

I would like to permanently delete all of my old Pipex email addresses & aliaises, but can't find anywhere on the Talk Talk my account site to do this. Has anyone got any useful links please?

My email account keeps closing and I am repeatedly requested to re submit in order to continue. I do this but the account closes again and the request to submit happens again. Very frustrating!
