Try to access my email accounts throws me into TalkTalk business and other errors.

As this is pubic I can't share the full details of my account (e.g.with a screen shot).

 

I have 4 different email accounts showing in my Email and Password section of My Account. Of these I can only get two working at all in WebMail. However, the two I can get working only work because as I log into them I am thrown into the TalkTalk Business website (https://netmail.pipex.net/index-ttb.php?reason=failed) where if I re-enter the same details I get access to my messages. Strangely, some of the aliases I have set up work too. I can then send a receive messages (though it looks like the two in-boxes are combined).

 

When I get to the accounts (that I have had since 2005 when it was Pipex) I find the inbox is empty. However, the sent items does contain a range of messages that I sent from 2005 to 2009.

 

  • What is going on here?
  • Why am I thrown to TalkTalk business?
  • Why can't I access some of the accounts listed in my Email and Password page?
  • Why have all the past in-box contents disappeared?

Incidently, you have just sent me a letter complaining that the email notifications you send me each month no longer work using one of my two working email accounts. I have just sent and recieved mail from that account so I can't see why you can't get it to work. Besides, you actually weren't sending my notifications to that email address, but rather to my quite different, non TalkTalk/Pipex work email address - and you have been doing that for more than five years.

 

I see you are upgrading your website. I've found some dead links (in the help system) so maybe they might be fixed. However, I fully expect now to lose my access to the two email addressed that  do work.
