My client and webmail failed a week ago (Sunday 18th September) for my Tiscal email address. I was able to send emails, but not receive them, as the server was failing to authenticate my login and password for incoming mail. With no solution from TalkTalk, I set up autoforwarding to another web based mail address. However, on Friday evening, this also stopped working. TalkTalk sent me a text claiming the problem had been solved, but it has not. I have missed some important email traffic affecting important domestic and commercial business.
This has been very badly handled by TalkTalk and I shall have to escalate this to a formal complaint if it is not resolved within 24 hours. I reiterate that this is not a problem requiring an engineer to visit; it is a server problem. I notice that quite a few other people have posted on the forum about losing autoforwarding this weekend. I think TalkTalk has a serious customer service problem judging from press and internet comment.
Please could some action be taken to resolve this matter within the next 24 hours
