A couple of times recently my broadband has dropped out but instead of failing completely it has directed me to a talktalk help wizard related to something called "Intermittent Sync". The help on offer is fairly basic - mainly it seems to be to check everything is still plugged in - but sometimes it does something which restores the connection. Most of the time it ends with the same error page reported by this guy, so I end up restoring internet access manually:
There's no actual explanation given there, and in any case I don't have Fibre or superpowers, so why do I get the wizard? And why does it seem to appear several times in quite a short time, then not reappear for weeks?
