Lost emails and none incoming

On Friday 22 April I lost all the emails in my in box and trash box in TalkTalk webmail.

A the same time I stopped receiving emails, even though the sender does get an error message.

I use only webmail and no other email client so I am completely at TalkTalk's mercy.

Customer services went throught some set-up checks with me then "escalated" the problem to Technical Support. I was told it could take 72 hours.

A few days later I received a text to say it had been fixed, but I was on holiday by then and could not check.

When I checked my webmail on Wednesday 4 May it was no different. I went through the same checks with customer services again to no avail, but this time I asked to speak to Technical Support

Raoul told me the problem was due to some changes TalkTalk had made resulting in the database not communicating properly with some customers' systems. That is stretching my technical computer knowledge, but it sounded plausible.

They were working on a fix and all my emails were in the database and would be returned to me, with all the new ones I have not received when fixed. I should wait 72 hours! Again!

It has now been over 2 weeks since I first reported this problem, which apparently TalkTalk were aware of already. I cannot beleive they have not fixed it yet.

What can I do. I have  lost old emails, am not receiving new ones. Even if I leave Talktalk for another provider I will be seriously inconvenienced.

Can you help, please.
