Hello
I am a former Freedom2Surf Resedential Customer who left a few years ago. I would like to access my F2S email account that I got when I had the active account. I can still receive emails to the address, I just do not know the password for it.
Since I am no longer a customer, I do not have access to My Account. I left around the time that TalkTalk took over Freedom2Surf and I became a TalkTalk residential customer at that point. I was with TalkTalk until like almost 2 years ago now when I moved away.
I do not have any of my old F2S account details anymore so no clue how I can verify myself as the account holder should the need arise. I am looking for some person with the ability from TalkTalk support to reset my email password so I can connect it up to my new computer and receive my emails on there.
I was thinking that if Support were to send an email to my F2S email address with a special code that I can then quote back to them, that would be enough to prove who I am and authorise my request.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who is having this issue and cannot find the answer elsewhere. If TalkTalk really did take control of everything that F2S had, then they should have the ability to reset the password somehow through the backend. I am very technical with computers and am a programmer myself and have access to many backends so I do know what is and isn't possible. There is absolutely no reason why support should turn down my request.
Someone please help me!
