duplicate emails

I have been in discussions with talktalk over email problems. Some weeks ago all my emails, sent and received, disapeared from my lap top. As usual,  communication with the overseas call centres was very difficult. Eventually they acknowledged  that "there was a problem with emails. However because it was a problem and not a fault their engineers could not repair it". Shortly after I received, in my in box on my laptop,  nearly 2000 emails that had been sent to me from 2013 up to 2016. Contacting Talktalk again, I asked "Where are the missing copies of the emails that I have sent?".  I wrote direct to Ms Harding CEO explaing my difficulies. My letter was answered by a representative of Ms Harding office. He would look into the situation. Since then I have recived Hundreds and Hundreds of emails to my in box some duplicated many of the in triplicate and they keep comming. I went on the webmail server and deleted all the emails that I could find in the in box on web mail. That stopped the problem until the next email was sent to me. Then it has started of all over again. Emails.Emails and more emails.

The gentleman in Ms Harding Office tells me that unless the duplicate emails appear on the webmail, thus  replecating what appears on my laptop, there is nothing talktalk can or will do as they do not support other email clients software. 

I was so pleased to to read on this formum that I am not alone with this FAULT or PROBLEM. I await for the promised answer that someone, presumable from Talktalk, posted here about duplicate emails.
