I am attempting to send emails from a Tiscali email account through Outlook 2007.
For some weeks, I have been able to receive emails, but send no more than one email a day. After one or two successful emails, a pop-up box shows repeatedly asking for network user name and password (with the server 'smpt.tiscali.co.uk'). This continues for as long as I have Outlook open.
When this disappears for long enough for the sending to complete, it shows an error that either 'the connection to the server has been disconnected or, less frequently, 'too many messages'.
I have turned off anti-virus protection for emails, and the ports appear to be correct (110 for POP3 to receive and 587 for SMTP to send).
Any assistance would be much appreciated - the situation has become pretty much intolerable.
